Bill litigates business disputes. Over his career, he has represented investors, executives, and companies of all sizes in various commercial and intra-corporate disagreements. Bill also has significant experience representing lenders in state and federal court, as well as in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Before founding Meluney Alleman & Spence, Bill practiced at one of Delaware’s most prestigious law firms, before making partner at an AmLaw 200 law firm, where he was recognized as the go-to attorney for the most complicated cases.
During law school, Bill was Editor-in-Chief of The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and served as a Wolcott Fellow to Justice Randy Holland of the Delaware Supreme Court.
Bill resides in Lewes with his wife and two daughters. He serves on the board of directors of Delaware Greenways, a non-profit dedicated to developing and promoting the use of trails and scenic byways throughout Delaware, and is a member of the advisory board to the Historic Lewes Farmers Market.

Advised many Delaware entities in winddown and dissolution proceedings.
